Mr. Predictor looks at the League Cup quarter finals

Hi gang! I got all five 1X2 Tips correct at the weekend, as well as four Match Tips. Here are my thoughts for this week.

Leicester v Manchester City – Tuesday 18 December – League Cup – BET HERE

Leicester lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace on Saturday and haven’t managed a goal in their last two League Cup games, both of which they won on penalties. Manchester City are the holders and beat Leicester on penalties in the quarter finals last year. They’ve won each of their last three games in the competition without conceding, and I foresee a straightforward Away Win here.

Match Tip: Manchester City Win on -1 Handicap (Odds: 1.90)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Leicester 0 v 2 Manchester City

Kashima Antlers v Real Madrid – Wednesday 19 December – Club World Cup – BET HERE

Real Madrid are back at the Club World Cup, which they’ve won in three of the last four seasons. They’re up against AFC Champions League winners Kashima Antlers, whom they beat in the final in 2016. There have been Over 2.5 Goals in four of the Antlers’ previous five games at the tournament, while Real have scored at least twice in eight of their last nine games. I expect a high-scoring Real win.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals (Odds: 1.45)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Kashima Antlers 1 v 2 Real Madrid

Bayern Munich v RB Leipzig – Wednesday 19 December – Bundesliga – BET HERE

It looks as though Bayern are back on track after their 4-0 win over Hannover at the weekend. They’re unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions and up to third in the Bundesliga, two points ahead of Leipzig. The visitors have lost their last four away games in all competitions, so I’m backing a Home Win with Over 2.5 Goals.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals (Odds: 1.40)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Bayern Munich 2 v 1 RB Leipzig

Arsenal v Tottenham – Wednesday 19 December – League Cup – BET HERE

What a great game we have here. Arsenal’s unbeaten run came to an end at Southampton on Sunday, and they haven’t been convincing lately at home, where they could only beat Huddersfield and Qarabag by one goal. Tottenham are in good form with three wins in four since the last North London Derby, which they lost 4-2. Even though the Gunners will have some defensive reinforcements back for this game, I think Spurs will take revenge.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score (Odds: 1.45)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Arsenal 1 v 2 Tottenham

Chelsea v Bournemouth Wednesday 19 December – League Cup – BET HERE

This is a repeat of the quarter finals last season, when Chelsea won 2-1. The Blues haven’t conceded in any of their last four games at Stamford Bridge and kept a clean sheet when they hosted Bournemouth earlier this season. The Cherries have lost six of their last seven games in all competitions and haven’t scored in the last two. I’m going for a comfortable Home Win.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score No (Odds: 1.75)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Chelsea 2 v 0 Bournemouth
