Israel v Poland (Euro Cup Qualification)
Poland have won six of their eight qualifiers so far, conceding just two goals along the way. They can also call upon the talents of talismanic striker Robert Lewandowski, who has scored 23 goals for club side Bayern Munich. He also scored a hat trick in Poland’s last away game.
Serbia v Ukraine (Euro Cup Qualification)
Serbia have won four games in a row for the first time since 2010. However, they are up against Group B leaders Ukraine, who have been unbeaten so far in qualifying and beat reigning champions Portugal 2-1 in their last game (despite playing the final 20 minutes with ten men). Ukraine are guaranteed top spot in the group, but they won’t give up their undefeated run that easily.
Bolton Wanderers v Milton Keynes Dons (League One)
Bolton have endured a torrid start to the season but, prior to a narrow defeat to Plymouth in the FA Cup, had won three consecutive games for the first time since 2017. Milton Keynes Dons have lost 11 of their last 15 matches in all competitions, including each of the past five.
Tranmere Rovers v Wycombe Wanderers (League One)
These sides met here in the FA Cup only last week, where they played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. Things aren’t quite so even in the league standings, though. Wycombe Wanderers are second in League One, having only lost one of their 16 league games so far. They have accrued 33 points in that spell, over twice as many as their hosts have managed (16).
Exeter City v Cheltenham Town (League Two)
Fifth-placed Exeter host sixth-placed Cheltenham on Saturday. The hosts have won seven of their ten home games this season across all competitions, an impressive record. In contrast, Cheltenham are winless in their last three matches and have been beaten by Exeter in eight of their last ten meetings.
Forest Green Rovers v Plymouth Argyle (League Two)
This is the first ever meeting between these two teams, so there’s no past record to judge. However, Forest Green are top of League Two and have won three of their last five matches in the competition. Visitors Plymouth arrive at the New Lawn having lost their last league game by a 4-0 scoreline.
Leyton Orient v Scunthorpe United (League Two)
Given that Scunthorpe are only two points above the relegation zone, this should be a straightforward home win. Nonetheless, Scunthorpe will be confident of getting a point here. They have only lost two of their last ten league games, drawing five times. Meanwhile, Leyton Orient have recently parted with manager Carl Fletcher. They have won just two of their last ten games in League Two and were recently eliminated from the FA Cup by a side four divisions below them.
Northampton Town v Crewe Alexandra (League Two)
This game comes at a good time for Northampton. They have won four of their past five games in all competitions and, although Crewe are five places above them in the standings, the hosts are in better form. They also won both of their games against the visitors last season.
Notts County v Barrow (National League)
Just one of Barrow’s 19 league games this season has ended in a draw. They have won nine of the last ten and currently boast the fourth-best away record in the division.
Solihull Moors v Fylde (National League)
Solihull Moors have hit form with four wins in five matches in the National League. Those results have propelled them to sixth in the standings, just three points off top. Fylde are hanging two points above the relegation zone with one win in five league matches.
