Top 5 bets of the week

We have gone through the stats and picked some of the best odds for you to consider during the week.

Barcelona v Inter Milan – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.50 – BET HERE

Wednesday will see Barcelona play host to Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League as they both seek to take control of Group B. The visiting Italians will be hoping to take full advantage of the absence of Lionel Messi, who suffered an arm injury in La Liga over the weekend. Both sides like to score goals just as they like to concede and, to this end, they have both seen Over 2.5 Goals in three of their last five outings in all competitions.

PSG v Napoli – Home Win – 1.45 – BET HERE

PSG find themselves trailing Napoli in their group as the visitors are one point ahead of them. Admittedly this is one of the toughest groups in this year’s competition and former PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti will take his Napoli side to Paris with the objective of causing an upset. PSG are unbeaten in their last 19 home games in the group stage of the Champions League after winning 15 and drawing the other four. The Partenopei have the quality to compete here, but they’ve lost 2-1 in three of their last four away trips in this competition.

Hoffenheim v Lyon – Both Teams to Score – 1.40 – BET HERE

Hoffenheim will go into their UEFA Champions League home fixture against Lyon on the back of an impressive comeback against Nurnberg in the Bundesliga over the weekend. Lyon for their part bounced back from their 5-0 defeat away to PSG with a 2-0 home win against Nimes. Interestingly the two sides are very good going forward but questions remain over their defensive stability. All of Hoffenheim’s last five games have seen both teams find the back of the net and the same is true in three of Lyon’s last five.

Sporting v Arsenal – Away Win – 2.20 – BET HERE

Arsenal have had an incredible run of games winning all their last  ten fixtures including in the Europa League. The Gunners boast one of the best coaches when it comes to the Europa League in Unai Emery, who took over from Arsene Wenger in the summer. Prior to his move to PSG in 2016, Emery had won the tournament with Sevilla three years running. Sporting for their part have won their last two fixtures in the tournament and they will be keen on maintaining a clean record. However, with Arsenal’s current run of form and the superior quality in the side, there is value for an Away Win.

Marseille v Lazio – Both Teams to Score – 1.55 – BET HERE

Elsewhere in the Europa League, eyes will be on Olympique Marseille and Lazio when they meet in their first Group H derby. Marseille suffered a shocking 2-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt in their first game of the tournament. The second game saw them drop points in their 2-2 draw with Apollon. It goes without saying that they will be desperate to return to winning ways and we can expect them to be attack-minded from the word go. The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, suffered from their 4-1 thrashing by Eintracht Frankfurt. Lazio have seen Both Teams to Score in four of their last five and the same is true in three of Marseille’s last five.
