Top 5 Bets of the Week: 3-6 June

League football in Europe might be over but there’s still a lot to look forward to this week. We looked at the odds and stats and came up with Top 5 Bets for you to consider. Bet on football here

Senegal U20 v Nigeria U20 – Senegal U20 Win – 2.35 – 3rd June

Senegal finished with seven points from their three group games in this year’s Under 20 World Cup, having made a splendid start at the tournament in Poland. Senegal haven’t lost any of their last nine matches in all competitions. In this competition, they have won two and drawn one without conceding a single goal. Meanwhile, Nigeria have won just one in their last five games in all competitions. So the young Lions of Teranga enter this match as heavy favourites.

Colombia v Panama – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.60 – 4th June

Colombia kick off their preparations for the Copa America with a friendly match against Panama. In the last five encounters between these two teams, four of them have seen at least three goals. Three of Colombia’s last five matches has also seen three or more goals scored. Three of Panama’s last five matches have seen Over 2.5 Goals. This match is likely to see some goals.

Portugal v Switzerland – Under 2.5 Goals – 1.75 – 5th June

Four of Portugal’s last five games have seen Under 2.5 Goals. Three of Switzerland’s last five matches had Under 2.5 Goals. Six of Portugal’s last six matches saw two or less goals. Therefore, given this is a UEFA Nations League semi-final, things should be a bit cagey with less chances in between.

Japan v Trinidad and Tobago – Under 2.5 Goals – 1.90 – 5th June

Japan host Trinidad in a warm-up match which is a preparation for the 2019 Copa America in Brazil. Three of the Japanese’s last five matches have seen Under 2.5 Goals. Trinidad’s last eight matches had two or less goals. Although this is a friendly match, the last few matches for both teams have been low scoring affairs and it doesn’t look like it will change.

Netherlands v England – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.90 – 6th June

England play the Dutch for the UEFA Nations League semi-final in what is expected to be an entertaining game. Three of the last five encounters between these two European encounters saw Over 2.5 Goals. The Three Lions last five games have also seen at least three goals, while three of Netherland’s five games in all competition had three or more goals. Therefore, this will be a high scoring affair given the stars who will be on show.
