Top 5 Bets for the Weekend: December 7-8

Another action-packed weekend of football across Europe awaits. After looking at the odds and stats we’ve come up with Top 5 Bets for the Week for you to consider. Bet on these games here.

Bournemouth v Liverpool – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.50

Liverpool sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table unbeaten after 15 games. They have a tricky trip to Bournemouth this weekend as they begin a busy month. After the 5-2 win in the Merseyside derby, the Reds play eight more games this month. The last six meetings between these two have all seen three or more goals scored. Three of the Cherries’ last five matches and four of Liverpool’s last five matches in all competitions have seen Over 2.5 Goals. Thirteen of Liverpool’s 15 league games this season have seen three or more goals scored. Therefore, a high scoring encounter is probably in store.

RB Leipzig v Hoffenheim – Both Teams to Score – 1.55

RB Leipzig are having a phenomenal season. They sit second in the Bundesliga and booked a place in the Champions League last 16 just over a week ago. They host Hoffenheim and will be aiming to put more pressure on Borussia Monchengladbach, who are top of the league. Both teams have found the net in nine of Leipzig’s last 11 fixtures. Both teams have scored in five of Hoffenheim last seven Bundesliga matches. Moreover, both teams have found the net in four of the last six meetings between these two.

Lazio v Juventus – Juventus Win – 2.45

Juventus face a difficult trip to Lazio on Saturday. They are unbeaten in Serie A this season and trail league leaders Inter Milan by a point. The Bianconeri have won their last three fixtures against Lazio. They have also lost just four away matches in Serie A since November 2017. Lazio are also having a splendid season. They are third in Serie A and unbeaten since early September. However, Juventus boast better quality than their hosts, which was on display when they beat Inter away from home earlier this season, therefore giving them the upper hand here.

Montpellier v PSG – Kylian Mbappe to Score – 1.95

PSG visit Montpellier on Saturday and can extend their lead at the top of Ligue 1 to eight points. Kylian Mbappe has scored three goals in four appearances against Montpellier. The 20-year-old has scored 11 goals in 15 appearances this season including six in Ligue 1. On Wednesday, he scored in PSG’s 2-0 win over Nantes. The young Frenchman is picking up the form that saw him score 42 goals last season after a few injury problems this season.

Olympique Marseille v Bordeaux – Olympique Marseille Win – 1.65

Marseille are having one of their best seasons in recent times. They are second in Ligue 1 and have won their last five matches in the league. Bordeaux are winless in their last three away matches. Marseille have also won three of the last four matches against the visitors. Andre Villas-Boas’ men are unstoppable at the moment and should get the job done on Saturday.
