Mr. Predictor's tips for the weekend

Bayern Munich v PSG – Saturday 21 July – Friendly – BET HERE

This game is part of the ICC pre-season friendlies, and I expect an entertaining match. Niko Kovac is now in charge at Bayern and although he has a depleted squad after the World Cup, he can still call upon Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and David Alaba. PSG also have a new manager who will be familiar to Bayern. Thomas Tuchel is back in football, but he will be missing several first team stars including Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani. I’m backing Bayern.

Match Tip: Bayern Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Bayern Munich 2 v 0 PSG

Atlanta United v DC United – Saturday 21 July – MLS – BET HERE

Wayne Rooney is set to make his first start in the MLS for new side DC United, and they need his help. The club are bottom of the Eastern Conference and have only won one of their 12 away league games this season. Atlanta are top of the league and are looking strong right now. Both teams have scored in DC United’s last nine MLS matches, but I think Rooney will be on the losing side here.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Atlanta United 2 v 1 DC United

Seattle Sounders v Vancouver Whitecaps – Saturday 21 July – MLS – BET HERE

Seattle have drawn three of their last five games and are on a poor run of two wins in their last ten MLS matches. Vancouver have lost their past two away games but have won two of their last five games. The Sounders have scored and conceded in four of their last five games, and both teams have scored in eight of the last ten games for Vancouver too. I see a Draw here.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Seattle Sounders 1 v 1 Vancouver Whitecaps

Club Brugge v Standard Liege – Sunday 22 July – Belgian Super Cup – BET HERE

Club Brugge won the league in Belgium last year for the second time in three seasons, so I make them favourites here. Standard Liege are the cup holders after they beat Genk in extra time in last season’s final. However, they’ve lost to Nancy and Celtic already in pre-season and were beaten 2-1 by Brugge in the Super Cup two years ago. I’m going for a win for the league champions.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Club Brugge 2 v 1 Standard Liege

Liverpool v Dortmund – Sunday 22 July – Friendly – BET HERE

Liverpool have won two and drawn one of their three pre-season friendlies so far, and new signings Naby Keita and Fabinho have both been involved. Jurgen Klopp has most of his first team available, although Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino won’t be ready. Dortmund’s new boss Lucien Favre has seen his side win just one of their three friendlies, so I’m backing Liverpool.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Liverpool 2 v 1 Dortmund
