Mr. Predictor's thoughts for the weekend games

Hi gang! All five of my Match Tips have come in since Tuesday. Let’s try to keep the hot streak going!

Leicester v Liverpool – Saturday 1 September – Premier League – BET HERE

Liverpool have taken maximum points so far this season but this is their biggest test yet. Leicester have won two of their opening three matches and have beaten the Reds in three of their last five meetings on home turf. The visitors haven’t conceded yet but, considering both sides have scored in five of their last six encounters, I can see that ending here. As for a winner? Sadio Mane and Mo Salah are on fire, so I have to back an Away Win.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Leicester 1 v 2 Liverpool

Celtic v Rangers – Sunday 2 September – Scottish Premiership – BET HERE

Both of these sides might have heavy legs after their efforts in the Europa League on Thursday, but I expect the importance of the derby will give the players the energy they need. Celtic have won four of their five home games this season in all competitions and defeated the Gers in four of their five clashes last year. I think Steven Gerrard will lose to his old manager Brendan Rodgers here.

Match Tip: Celtic Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Celtic 3 v 1 Rangers

Watford v Tottenham – Sunday 2 September – Premier League – BET HERE

What a start to the season these teams have had! Both sides have won all three of their matches, and each have an in-form forward. Roberto Pereyra and Lucas Moura have three goals apiece and I expect both teams to score in this one. However, Tottenham were impressive against Manchester United and even though these sides drew at Vicarage Road last year, I think Spurs will sneak a win.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Watford 1 v 2 Tottenham

Real Betis v Sevilla – Sunday 2 September – La Liga – BET HERE

Real Betis finished two points above their local rivals Sevilla last season, but they are yet to score in two games so far this time around. Sevilla have started with a win against Rayo Vallecano and a draw against Villarreal, and they haven’t lost away to Betis since 2006. The last three derbies have had Over 2.5 Goals, and both teams have scored. I’m going for the same again.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Real Betis 1 v 3 Sevilla

AS Monaco v Marseille – Sunday 2 September – Ligue 1 – BET HERE

I’ve been surprised by Monaco’s inconsistency. They have won one, drawn one and lost one this season, but old foes Marseille have the same record. One thing we can expect here is goals. There have been Over 3.5 Goals in each of the past five meetings between these teams, with Monaco winning four of those. Since Marseille haven’t won at Stade Louis II since 2010, I see a Home Win.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: AS Monaco 2 v 1 Marseille
